Concrete was removed in order to excavate the earth and install push piers.

After the earth had been removed, push piers were installed to raise up the home. Here you can see preparations being made for installation of piers.

This is was an installed push pier looks like. It is set in place in which it will remain to keep the house in place and avoid soil settlement.
Post Installation of Push Piers
After installing the push piers earth is returned to the hole and it is sealed with concrete. This is what it looks like post installation.
