Katie had moved into her home recently and desperately wants a dry basement while she is there. She uses the space as mostly storage but couldn't imagine those boxes filled with memories ruined by water and mold. She did her research and liked the values Midwest stands by. Braydon surveyed the area and found there was an improper drain tile around the house. The water was coming in through the cold joint. There was also a previous wall issue that we addressed with PowerBraces. Water was coming in through cracks there as well. To combat this issue, Braydon proposed we install full perimeter waterproofing, including Waterguard, CleanSpace, and Waterguard. CleanSpace is our encapsulation system that is installed to the wall. It is a waterproof, tarp-like but durable material that collects any water coming in through the walls. Waterguard helps collect this water and sends it to the sump pump, which will discharge it out of the home at a safe distance. Katie loved this solution and is so excited to have a dry basement again. There is no doubt she has peace of mind her for boxes of memories and health of her home. 

These homeowners was seeing cracks inside of their manufactured home. They were worried about the issues getting worse if they kept putting this project off. This is their forever home and they knew they needed someone they could trust to get it done right. They knew of Thrasher and our reputation and after reading the great reviews, they gave us a call. System Design Specialist, Rich Lathrum, came out to meet with them. Rich did his inspection of the crawlspace and noticed the supports under the home were not spaced properly, which was causing the middle to sink. He brought these findings back to the homeowners with a solution. Rich proposed we use floor supports down the middle of the home, along with full encapsulation with our CleanSpace, a sump pump, and a Sani Dry Dehumidifier. The floor supports prevent the floor from sinking when spaced appropriately. CleanSpace and our Sani Dry will help with the health of the home, keeping the humidity down and keeping the dirty air out of the inside of the home. Humidity can also be a cause of sinking floors, so keeping the levels at an appropriate level helps prevent sinking. The homeowners loved this solution and we sent out our installation team.  The homeowners were very satisfied with the work and we know they have peace of mind for their forever home.

This family of two were both retired and were tired of worrying about the foundation of their home. After further inspection, he determined it was a cause from hydrostatic pressure in the ground. He came back to the family with these findings and with a solution. Together they discussed and decided on using Carbon Armor Wall Reinforcing Straps to stabilize the wall. There was plumbing and electrical on the wall, so there was not enough room for a full wall anchor. Carbon Armor is a fabric-like carbon fiber wall strap that effectively stabilize and strengthen the foundation. The family loved this idea and we sent out our installation team. There is no doubt this family is enjoying their retirement without worry of foundation issues. 

This homeowner was nervous about her walls failing. She wanted the peace of mind that her wall wouldn't fail in her home, so she gave us a call. We sent System Design Specialist Tyler Dopheide to inspect the scene and determine what was happening to her foundation walls. Tyler determined that the foundation walls were failing because the soil on the outside of the home were pushing the walls in. In order to fix this, our team utilized a combination of Power Braces and Wall Anchors around her home. The homeowner was very happy with the results because her foundation walls are now stabilized. 

This homeowner noticed that their patio had settled and that the house's roof was connected by pillars. They wanted to keep the roof's integrity by lifting the patio, so after researching quality products to solve this issue, they came across our products and services. 

We sent System Design Specialist Elliott Christians to assess the damage and perform the solution necessary to ensure the roof's structural integrity. Elliott and his team used PolyLevel to lift the patio to its original level. After this, they used NexusPro to seal all the joints and cracks, ensuring that the concrete does not get sick again.

This Pella, IA homeowner reported severely high humidity levels in their basement and needed a permanent solution to make their home run efficiently through the winter. After meeting with one of our System Design Specialists, they opted to have our crews install our complete waterproofing system. It consists of our WaterGuard interior drainage system, CleanSpace vapor-proof barrier, SaniDry dehumidifier, and lateral lines to create the best path for the water to exit the home. As a result, water was seeping through the cracks every time it rained and infiltrating their basement space. Midwest arrived at the home in Hamilton, IA and performed a thorough inspection on the garage and wet basement. Our team determined that the best solution would be our two-part concrete protection system. The first part is injecting PolyLevel foam underneath the concrete to lift and level the sunken areas. Then, NexusPro sealer is applied to all cracks and joints to prevent any water from breaching in the future. The combination of these two products forms a permanent concrete restoration solution.

John W. had noticed foundation issues with his home. A couple of things were on his mind that could be causing the issues. There is a nearby railroad that he believes is shaking his home and adding the problem. Another thing that is taking a toll on the home is the soil around the foundation is not stable enough to support the home.

He called Midwest for an inspection and we were seeing the issues as well. We helped remove the oil drum and some shelving before the installation of the project. Also, we planned to remove the existing wall supports in order to properly install our solution. We provided 2 different custom solutions to remedy the situation. We provided GeoLock anchors and PowerBrace beams. These products stabilized the foundation and are warrantied for 25 years. Also, the warranty is transferable in the case that the homeowner decides to sell his home. John was very relieved to have the problem fixed for good.

We had a customer call in and tell us that she was concerned with her windows and doors sticking and not closing properly. She asked if one of our System Design Specialists could come out and take a look at the issue. We had Nick go out and walk through the house to see what was going on. When he was done walking through, he told the homeowner that he needed to fix the foundation and we had a solution for it. 

We would have to insert Power Braces with joists to hold up the wall from not bowing and prevent it from doing it again. We would also need to install push piers which will lift settled foundations back to original level. As Nick was talking about the piers and the process of them, he mentioned that the homeowner did not have a waterproofing system. He mentioned it to the homeowners and they were interested in receiving one. 

While the foreman came out to install the push piers and power braces, they went ahead and installed the waterproofing system. The homeowners were very impressed with the whole customer journey.
