The second important step is one that many homeowners tend to skip: getting more than one opinion. For any given home repair problem, there are a number of different solutions and methods available. Some are more effective than others, some are more affordable, some more expensive. Before you sign anything, get at least three or two different opinions. Know your options and make an informed decision.
