Whether you are fully satisfied with the work done or not, always report on the results (completed project). Reputable companies learn from both their successes and their mistakes and are always willing to walk the extra mile to satisfy a good customer. If they’ve done a good job, they will appreciate your feedback.

If results are not quite what you expect, talk to them as well. Where a reputable contractor will appreciate the chance to rectify the mistakes they’ve made, and will be happy to work with you on a solution.
