This homeowner wanted to keep his basement dry because he had been struggling with water sitting in his basement. He had used our services previously, so he knew just who to call when he needed waterproofing solutions.

We sent Service Technician Michael Holtzbauer to inspect the basement and determine what was causing water to get into the homeowners basement. Michael found that there were no waterproofing systems in place to protect the homeowner's basement, so water was not leaving the basement once it got in. Also, Michael saw that the drainage system was not pumping water out of the drains as they easily froze over in the winter and prevented water from getting out. Michael discussed with the homeowner some options for waterproofing as well as fixing the small drainage system, and the homeowner decided to start with fixing the drainage system. These sump pumps will also help to pump water out of the basement as opposed to the previous drainage system which only ran water downhill.
