Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Des Moines Basement Foundation Repair & Waterproofing

This was a job that required all of our talents. One wall in this homeowner's basement was so badly damaged it needed to be replaced. Two others were repairable with PowerBraces. We also did a perimeter waterproofing system to keep it dry and usable with our nice CleanSpace wall product to finish off the space.

When waterproofing a basement we must remove about a foot of the floor around the interior perimeter to lay a proper tile system.

Excavating for wall replacement to access the footing and demo the wall is a big job that requires heavy machinery.

New Block Foundation Wall

Building a new foundation wall is quite the process, in this photo they are laying the first course of block for the new wall.

Wall Bowing Repair and Waterproofing Wall Membrane

Here is an after shot of cleanspace product creating a water and vapor barrier that runs into the waterguard tile. As well as our powerbrace system correcting the wall bow in one of the walls that was still repairable.
