Wet Walls
These walls were experiencing a moisture problem. With moisture can come mold and mildew. Installing a Vapor Barrier like Cleanspace can help clean up this area, make it look nicer, and prevent any mold from growing.
Vapor Barrier
Cleanspace is our vapor barrier, tarp like, material that is waterproof. It collects water that comes in from the outside, and helps send it to the sump pump via the WaterGuard installed at the base of the floor.
Before Cleanspace
Having a mold problem is not great. It can cause harm to you and your family and it is a mess to clean up. Installing a waterproof vapor barrier is the best route to go to keeping your home and family safe.
Vapor Barrier
Cleanspace is pliable enough to cover uneven surfaces and irregular walls. As well as preventing mold, it can also help prevent humidity.
Before WaterGaurd
WaterGuard helps collect water that is sitting the basement and sends it to the sump pump to be disposed of out of the home. A small trench is dug to install this, then concrete is laid on top to seal it.
Waterguard Installed
Under the wet concrete is our WaterGuard system. This is a drainage tunnel that allows water to be collected from the walls and cold joint, and sends it to the sump pump. The sump pump then discharges it out of the home at a safe distance.
Cracking Walls
These walls were letting water seep through the cracks, cause some mold and mildew to form. This can cause a musty smell in your home. Mold and mildew are not healthy for you or your home. Adding a vapor barrier can help prevent mold, as well as keeping energy bills down.
Cleanspace Vapor Barrier
Cleanspace helps with many issues in a basement or crawlspace. Here it is helping collect water coming in from the cracks in the walls, and sends it to the WaterGuard under the wet concrete in this photo. These systems work well together, because the Cleanspace is waterproof, and the WaterGuard is a direct channel to the sump pump that then discharges the water out of the home.
