A Full Inspection
Behind the west basement wall, you can see the problem at hand. The wall was bowing inward from the extreme amounts of hydrostatic pressure, causing severe cracks in the walls and making them vulnerable to water seepage.
Water Stains and Failed Repairs
The cracks on the walls had previously been sealed, but they failed as the walls continued to bow in.
A Dated Sump Pump
When sump pumps are aged and not maintained regularly, they can cause harm to your home. They are responsible for removing the water captured in the home, and when not functioning properly, they become a risk for a flooded basement.
Foundation Repair
The steel beams shown in this photo are our PowerBrace foundation repair product. The braces are installed to stabilize the wall in its current position and slowly return to the wall to its upright position over time.
Waterproofing
Behind the PowerBrace is our CleanSpace waterproof barrier, and underneath is our WaterGuard interior drainage system. These two products are responsible for capturing any moisture that infiltrates the walls and directing it towards the sump pump.
Now That's a Sump Pump
To complete the project, our TripleSafe sump pump system was installed to guarantee this home stays dry year-round. This family chose to have our waterproofing system installed, in addition to the foundation repair, so they could have full peace of mind resuming their basement finishing project.
