This homeowner tried to lift her concrete deck with big box store jacks, but it sank more and cracked the step. She was frustrated with this, so when she looked for companies that could stabilize her step, she gave us a call first.
We sent System Design Specialist Tyler Bovee to inspect the current lifting jacks under the homeowner's deck to determine what we could do to properly support the deck. Tyler found that the concrete deck was too heavy for the store bought jacks, and that the weight of the deck is pushing the jacks down further. He discussed this with the homeowner, then called for a crew to get to work on supporting this deck. One of our crews came out and installed SmartJacks in order to bear the weight of the concrete deck, then they used NexusPro to seal and repair the crack in the step.
The homeowner was very happy with the results of her deck repair. Check out her newly repaired deck!

This homeowner's basement walls were experiencing severe wall failure. So much so, they felt hopeless. When we performed our inspection, we decided the best solution to fix this foundation would be wall support. But not just any wall support - this was a job for our EverBrace system. EverBrace uses steel panels and beams that work together to transfer the load of the failing wall to the new support panels. Now, the wall is 100% supported and the home is saved.

This basement was experiencing extreme wall failure. We stabilized and permanently supported these walls by installing our EverBrace system. This system uses steel panels and beams to transfer the weight of the failing wall onto the new steel wall. Even though it looks pretty cool on its own, you can cover the steel wall with drywall to fit your design style.

Erik had one inch of water standing in his basement during heavy rains. Water was almost always leaking into his basement every time it rained. He knew this was because his walls were bowing in which caused them to crack. He was aware that this was a foundation issue, and decided he needed to get it fixed as soon as possible, to make sure his home stays structurally stable.
Midwest Basement Systems made sure his home would stay around for many years to come. They installed PowerBraces around his bowing walls, as well as a WaterGuard system that led to a sump pump. Several EverLast basement windows were installed, along with SunHouse window enclosures to prevent any water from entering the basement. His basement has been dry ever since!
Scott had cracks all around his home. There were cracks in his foundation, as well as his floors, walls, ceilings and patio. He was concerned with the structural integrity of the home, and decided it was time to do something about it.
Such issues occur when the foundation of the home settles. Midwest Basement Systems had to raise up the foundation to its original state using push piers. To do this, they had to excavate the soil around the side of the home. They also installed new tile, gravel, and damp-proofed the walls before backfilling the soil. They also replaced his patio after excavating and installing the system.
