I have a sand floor in my crawl space that gets moist/wet when there is normal rainfall. I average 60% to 70% humidity levels in the house year round due to the excessive amount of moisture that evaporates and (I assume) comes through the hardwood floors. The humidity levels are about 10% less during the winter but still too high. With the air conditioning set at 70 degrees in summer, the humidity level in the house is also around 70%. The exposed portion of the walls range from 30"-40" and are insulated. I would like to have my crawl space evaluated and get a quote for resolving the issue. The home is 1 level and around 1800 sq. ft. with the crawl space being slightly less sq footage. I am available all next week.
