This customer was experiencing water in the basement and was tired of cleaning it up every time it rained. After we inspected, we realized the problem was the exterior drainage. To fix the issue, our crew installed a full perimeter interior drainage system, vapor barrier, and a sump pump. These three systems will work in conjunction with one another to make sure three things happen:
This customer wanted to finish his basement, but did not want to worry about getting water anymore. He called us out to do a full home inspection and we determined the best route would be to install a full perimeter interior drianage track, sump pump, and vapor barrier. We were able to install all three and fully waterproof his basement to stay dry all the time and keep the water out.
We installed wall anchors in this home to hold the wall and prevent it from coming inward any further. These wall anchors will also work overtime to straighten the foundation wall. The homeowner, in this case, wanted to put drywall on his basement walls, but the drywaller noticed the wall was bowing inward and was concerned about the structural integrity of the home. When we inspected the home, we found the wall of the garage was bowing inward from the active wedge the soil places on the wall. This caused several cracks to develop in the mortar joints overtime.

This customer needed to make sure that the water being soaked up by his sump pump was being carried far enough away so that it wouldn't drain the water right back into the foundation wall soil. We were able to extend the discharge pipe far enough from the foundation and ensure the water would not affect the home's integrity.
