Matthew B. reached out to Midwest because he noticed his walkway had big cracks that would be a potential tripping hazard for his children. He chose Midwest because he knew we were a reliable company and wanted to get the work done quickly.
We sent System Design Specialist Tyler Paulson out to inspect. We ended up lifting and leveling the concrete with our Polylevel system. The Polylevel concrete leveling system was the perfect option for this job because it's waterproof, cures quickly, and will efficiently fill cracks and crevices in the soil. After leveling, we then sealed up the controlled joints with our Nexus Pro to prevent any water and rocks getting into the joints. Matthew was so happy with our work and timeliness that he started thinking of other areas we can come back out and help fix.
Melissa had "fix the driveway" on her to-do list for a while, and when she was ready, she called Midwest. Her driveway was sinking and cracking which led her to have concerns for her children's and mother's safety.
We were able to use PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete and seal the joints with NexusPro to prevent future damage.
Now, Melissa can check something off of her to-do list and let go of her fears!
Midwest Foundation Repair was called out to lift and level the sinking driveway and sidewalk slabs of this home in Waukee, IA. Using a 2-part approach, we filled voids beneath the sinking concrete slabs with our PolyLevel polyurethane foam to bring them back to level, then sealed the joints with NexusPro to help mitigate erosion of the soil beneath the slabs.
The customer's concrete driveway was settling more than 3 inches next to the house and caused a lot of issues both functionally and aesthetically. The failing concrete was causing the brick facade to begin falling.
To fix this, we used PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete the full 3 inches, enough to put the facade back in place. This was then followed by Nexus pro to seal the joints and concrete for additional protection.
After this customer's concrete repair work, we got down to the source of the problem. Water from this exposed downspout was pooling up near the concrete and home's foundation. We buried the downspout to better move rain water away from the home.
