Compromised foundation walls were leading to huge problems in the customer's house. Homeowner Ralph H. in Boone, IA noticed that there were cracks appearing in his foundation. After inspecting the walls, he was able to identify that the basement wall was in stage one wall failure with deflection and diagonal cracking on the poured foundation. This homeowner wanted to stabilize a basement wall from further movement inward. When we inspected the foundation, we found the wall was pushing inward about 1/4" since last year. The problem was coming from saturated soil because of moisture which was putting more pressure on the walls.

We fixed the problem by putting up PowerBraces to support the walls. We used PowerBraces to support the whole wall and stop the inward movement.
