Not only can cracks in basement walls cause leaks, mold, and infestation, but they can also lead to serious structural issues threatening your home. This basement got a complete makeover and now has the support needed, and the homeowner can live worry-free. 

Look at this sharp waterproofing system in this basement! There was water coming through the walls and the cold joint, as well as having bowing walls. To help combat these issues we installed our waterproofing systems including CleanSpace and WaterGuard. Cleanspace is the "white stuff on the walls." It is a waterproof, tarp-like material that collects any water from coming in through the walls and sends it to the WaterGuard. WaterGuard collects the water from the CleanSpace and cold joint and sends it to the sump pump, which will discharge the water out of the home at a safe distance. To help the the bowing walls, we installed PowerBraces, which are floor to ceiling braces to prevent any further deflection, and over time can be adjusted to help straighten the wall back out. The customer notice their floors were squeeking and wanted to have them inspected. We come out to their home and found that there were issues with the foundation supports in the crawl space. The problem the house was having was the floor support that was there was not enough to support the floor. Now the floor is sagging 3/4" and there are drywall cracks appearing. We fixed the problem by adding Smart jacks to the crawlspace to help support the load of the floor.

We sent System Design Specialist Cody out to provide a free on-the-spot estimate.  We installed our Everbrace system to completely stabilize the wall and prevent it from caving in.  This stops the wall from moving and helps take the support of the house from the current wall.  Jose was so happy with our work, that he asked us to do additional work on the home.

This customer encountered a situation where two walls within the property were bowing inward.
