This homeowner has previously used our waterproofing services, however she did not replace her older sump pump at that time. The waterproofing solutions were working well for her, however her sump pump had stopped working, so she gave us a call. We had Service Technician Braydon Aker return to the homeowner's home with a new TripleSafe Sump Pump System ready to be installed. This homeowner was having problems with water getting in their basement. She wanted to refinish her basement as an entertainment space for her kids, however she needed to have a dry basement in order to do that. After looking for solutions that would help her create a safe space for her renovation, she gave us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Jordan Mullen to inspect the basement and determine what was causing the water problems as well as suggest custom solutions for her basement. Jordan found that water was coming through the south wall of the home and leaking through the concrete blocks, which formed puddles of water along the perimeter of the basement. He also noticed that the water had weakened the wall structure, causing stage 2 wall failure. The homeowner was quite concerned about these issues and for the safety of her home, so she discussed solutions custom to her home with Jordan.

We sent an installation team out to install Geo-Lock Anchors on the south wall of the home and PowerBraces on the west wall of the home. These solutions help to stabilize the walls and move them back to their original positions over time. After fixing the wall troubles, our team started to work on waterproofing the walls to prevent any further damage. Our team used the WaterGuard Interior Drainage System and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier along the south and east walls of the home. Finally, our team installed a new Sump Pump in order to keep water pumping out of the basement.

This homeowner wanted to get his house fixed up before his daughter came to visit him. Kevin took a look in the crawlspace and saw that there was no climate control system in the crawlspace which had allowed the supports to sink down and not hold up the floor anymore. After showing this to the homeowner and reassuring that this problem can be fixed, the homeowner was relieved that someone had finally given him a solution. Our team went out to the home and installed SmartJacks and a supplemental support beam to lift the floors closer to being flat. These products helped to strengthen and stabilize the floor so that the home was more secure.

This homeowner was worried about mosquitoes and mold in her moldy, wet crawlspace. She was also concerned about her children because the mold and high humidity are associated with harmful allergens. She had heard of our services and she wanted us to give her a permanent solution for her home to be dry and with low humidity.

We sent System Design Specialist Kevin French to inspect the crawlspace and determine what was causing the mold and mosquitoes to live there. Kevin found that the crawlspace was completely wet and that the AC condenser line was dripping into the middle of the crawlspace without any drainage system. The water was just sitting there, causing the crawlspace to be wet, and the humidity to grow mold quickly. Our team wanted to protect this homeowner's home right away, so we sent a crew to start encapsulating her crawlspace. Our team utilized CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to encapsulate and protect the home from moisture, a sump pump with a proper discharge pipe to bring water away from the home, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to bring down the humidity level and purify the air.

These homeowners were concerned about their uneven floors. They were already planning to have their radon mitigated, so they decided to have some work done in their crawlspace as well.

James found that there was a damp, musty smell coming from the crawlspace due to excess moisture in the air, which was also causing the floor supports to weaken. After discussing the options with James and seeing the pre-mailer book they received about crawlspace repairs, they decided to have us take care of their crawlspace repairs. Our team determined that they needed to bury the downspouts so that water could not get into the crawlspace and cause problems with moisture. The team then installed Silver Gloe Insulation to help save on energy cost for the homeowners. Finally, our team addressed the support problems by using SmartJacks and adding supplemental beams to even out the floor as well as installing a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to finish protecting the support beams from moisture.
